Prime to Stream ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Australia With No Payment Required

Jun 8, 2026

Australian cricket fans will be able to watch every match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 live through Prime Video, with the tournament returning to the platform in Australia with no payment required to access coverage.

Beginning on 13 June, the competition will see 12 teams compete across England and Wales, culminating in the Final at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on 5 July. Viewers will need an Amazon account using an email address or phone number to watch, but no payment will be required.

The move marks the second time Prime Video has made the tournament available in Australia without requiring paid access, expanding audience reach for one of the fastest growing competitions in global women’s sport.

Australian Women’s Cricket captain Sophie Molineux said broad accessibility would help strengthen support for the team during the tournament.

“Having every match available free on Prime Video is massive for fans back home,” Molineux said, as Australia prepares to pursue a seventh ICC Women’s T20 World Cup title.

Prime Video Australia and New Zealand Head of Content Alexandra Gilbert said the offering builds on audience engagement seen during previous women’s cricket coverage and reflects continued investment in live sport alongside entertainment programming.

Australia enters the tournament as a six time champion and will be led by Sophie Molineux in her first international tournament as captain following her appointment earlier this year.

Prime Video will also offer full match replays, highlights packages and Rapid Recap functionality, helping viewers catch up on key moments during live matches.

Australia opens its campaign against South Africa on 13 June, with Semi Finals beginning on 2 July before the Final on 5 July.

The initiative highlights how streaming platforms continue to broaden access to major sporting events, creating more opportunities for audiences to engage with premium live content.
