Paramount+’s Emmy-Nominated Yellowjackets Returns with Australian Stars
Paramount+ is bringing its Emmy-nominated psychological thriller Yellowjackets back for a fourth and final season, with Australian actors Courtney Eaton and Liv Hewson returning alongside the show's acclaimed international cast.
The final season brings the gripping survival drama towards its conclusion, as the survivors of a devastating plane crash confront the lasting consequences of their time in the wilderness.
Since its debut in 2021, Yellowjackets has captivated audiences with its unsettling mix of psychological horror, survival drama and coming-of-age storytelling. The series follows a high school girls' soccer team stranded in the wilderness, moving between their struggle to survive and the lives they attempt to rebuild nearly 25 years later.
Australian talent on the global stage
Among the returning cast are Australian performers Courtney Eaton and Liv Hewson, both of whom have been part of the series since its first season.
Eaton, known for Mad Max: Fury Road and Gods of Egypt, portrays the younger Lottie Matthews, whose mysterious visions and growing influence have shaped some of the show's darkest storylines.
Hewson, whose credits include Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet, plays the younger Vanessa "Van" Palmer, a survivor whose resilience and relationships have been central to the series.
The pair join an international ensemble including Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Sophie Thatcher, Tawny Cypress and Academy Award winner Hilary Swank.
Their ongoing roles demonstrate how global streaming platforms allow Australian talent to showcase their skills on an international stage.
