Netflix Greenlights Season Two of Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, Produced by Australia’s Flying Bark Productions

Netflix has swiftly renewed Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 for a second season, less than a week after its global debut. The animated series, produced by Australia’s Flying Bark Productions, has already made an early impact, landing at No. 7 on Netflix’s global Top 10.
Flying Bark CEO Barbara Stephen welcomed the news, highlighting both the strength of the studio’s international teams across Sydney, Madrid and Los Angeles, and the continued enthusiasm of Stranger Things audiences worldwide. The upcoming season will further expand the Hawkins universe, with a focus on delivering a bigger animated adventure for family viewers.
The renewal follows another milestone for the studio, which recently earned a Peabody Award for its work on Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur on Disney+, highlighting Flying Bark’s growing presence in globally recognised streaming productions.
