Streaming For Australia Members Celebrate Wins at the 2026 Emmy Awards
Streaming for Australia members have been celebrated at the 2026 Emmy Awards, with Netflix, Apple TV and HBO Max taking home honours across drama, comedy and reality television.
Among the winning productions were titles with strong Australian connections, from an Australian-created format and production company to Australian producers and performers working on acclaimed global series.
Netflix
Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum continued its impressive awards run with three Emmy wins.
Created by Australian filmmaker Cian O’Clery and produced by Sydney-based Northern Pictures, the series began in Australia before being adapted for US audiences. Its latest wins bring the US series to 10 Emmys from 17 nominations.
Love on the Spectrum
The series follows people on the autism spectrum as they navigate dating, relationships and the search for love, bringing warmth, humour and authenticity to stories of human connection.

Apple TV
Apple TV celebrated wins across Slow Horses and Margo’s Got Money Troubles, with Australian connections behind and in front of the camera.
Slow Horses
Produced by See-Saw Films, co-founded by Australian producer Emile Sherman and Iain Canning, Slow Horses follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents working out of MI5’s less-than-glamorous Slough House.
The series also features Australian actor Christopher Chung as tech expert Roddy Ho, adding another Australian connection to the acclaimed ensemble.
Slow Horses added another Emmy to its awards tally, with Saul Metzstein recognised for his direction of the episode “Scars”.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles
Australian actor Nicole Kidman stars in and executive produces *Margo’s Got Money Troubles*, alongside Elle Fanning.

The series picked up three Creative Arts Emmys, with recognition across costume, makeup and hairstyling.
