Paramount+ Sets 27 August Premiere Date for Australian Original Drama Dalliance

Paramount+ has unveiled new details about its upcoming Australian original drama Dalliance, showcasing an acclaimed Australian cast and the city's iconic locations ahead of the series' premiere on 27 August.
Filmed on location across Sydney, the six-part drama uses the Harbour City as the backdrop for a story of lifelong friendships, family, love and second chances. The series follows retired cameraman Billy (Hugo Weaving), whose unexpected connection with chef Dani (Heather Mitchell) sets off a chain of events that forces a close-knit community to confront long-buried secrets and life-changing decisions.
Leading the cast are acclaimed Australian actors Heather Mitchell, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham and Georgie Parker, joined by an ensemble that includes Wayne Blair, Catherine McClements, Kate Winter, Carolyn Bock, Russell Dykstra, Ryan Panizza, Tess Bowers, David Roberts and John Doyle. Together, the cast brings together some of Australia's most recognised performers from film and television.
Created by John Edwards, Heather Mitchell, Pip Karmel and Liz Doran, Dalliance is produced by Australian production company Roadshow Rough Diamond. John Edwards, Heather Mitchell and Dan Edwards serve as producers, while Paramount Australia's Head of Scripted and Comedy, Sophia Mogford, executive produces alongside story producer Pip Karmel. The writing team includes Pip Karmel, Jock Serong, Christopher Lee and Liz Doran, with Matthew Saville and Emma Jackson directing.
Roadshow Rough Diamond is behind acclaimed Australian productions including Bump and Romper Stomper, while producer John Edwards' credits include Offspring, Love My Way, Tangle and The Secret Life of Us.
Supported by Screen NSW's Made in NSW TV Drama Fund, Dalliance is another example of Australian stories, creative talent and filming locations being brought to audiences through streaming.
