Paramount+ Extends A-Leagues Partnership Through 2029

Paramount+ will remain the streaming home of Australian professional football after securing a three year extension of its partnership with the Australian Professional Leagues, continuing coverage of the A-Leagues through to 2029.
Under the renewed agreement, every Isuzu UTE A League Men’s match and every Ninja A League Women’s match will continue streaming live on Paramount+, reinforcing the platform’s long term commitment to Australian sport and local audiences.
The renewal follows strong audience momentum, with Paramount Australia and New Zealand reporting A League viewership on Paramount+ reached record levels during the 2025/26 season, increasing 55 per cent compared with the 2021/22 season.
The agreement also strengthens Paramount+’s sports offering in Australia, complementing football content already available on the platform including CommBank Matildas matches, selected CommBank Socceroos fixtures, the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027.
Paramount+ subscribers will continue to have access to match highlights, minis, replays and football related programming as part of the service offering.
Adam Cush, Director of Sport, Paramount Australia and New Zealand, said the company was committed to helping grow football audiences in Australia.
"The A Leagues’ future in this country is bright, and we are determined to play our part in expanding its reach, growing its audience and giving football the platform it deserves."
The renewal highlights how streaming platforms continue investing in premium sports content, helping Australian audiences access live and on demand viewing experiences while strengthening the local sports media landscape.
The 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A League and Ninja A League seasons will commence on 16 October 2026.
