Paramount Expands UFC Partnership into Australia, Broadening Access to Live Sports Content

Paramount has extended its long standing partnership with UFC to Australia, with live events set to become available to local audiences from 2026.

Under the expanded agreement, Paramount+ subscribers in Australia will be able to access UFC Fight Nights and prelims for major numbered events as part of their subscription. Selected events will also be broadcast on free to air television via Network 10, providing broader reach across different viewing platforms.
The move follows a wider global agreement that will see Paramount+ serve as the primary home of UFC content in the United States, reflecting the growing importance of sports within streaming services’ content strategies.

With dozens of Fight Nights and marquee events scheduled each year, the partnership will significantly increase the volume of live sports available on Paramount+ in Australia. It also highlights the role of premium sports rights in driving audience engagement and platform differentiation within the subscription video on demand market.
Together, the expanded partnership signals continued investment in diversified content offerings, as streaming platforms look to combine entertainment and live sports to meet evolving audience demand.
