Australian Kids Series Caper Crew Heads to Global Audiences on Netflix

Australian-made children's series Caper Crew is heading to audiences around the world, with Netflix acquiring the series for more than 190 territories outside Australia.
Produced by Easy Tiger for the ABC, the live-action family comedy premiered in Australia in April 2026. The international deal, secured by the Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF), will see the series stream globally on Netflix, while the ABC retains the Australian rights.
Caper Crew follows siblings Amelia and Kai Delaney, whose quiet lives in the town of Woodspring are turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of their glamorous con-artist grandmother, Queenie. She introduces the pair to her "Ten Con-mandments", a playbook of mischief and the art of the grift.
The series joins a growing list of Australian children's productions that have found international audiences through Netflix, including The Inbestigators, Little Lunch, Surviving Summer and H2O: Just Add Water.
Australian children's content has also been finding a strong audience on the platform. According to the ACTF, 10 of the top 20 Australian programs featured in Netflix's latest Global Engagement Report were made for children's audiences.
Amanda Duthie, Netflix ANZ Content Director, said Caper Crew had the "wit, warmth and mischief" that Australian children's series are known for, adding that the streamer was looking forward to introducing Amelia, Kai and Queenie to families around the world.
The international release gives another locally made Australian series the opportunity to travel well beyond its home market, bringing Australian stories and creative talent to viewers around the world.
